DSA Secondary School - Singapore

By: Oliver, in Category: Secondary

DSA stands for Direct School Admission, which is a scheme that allows students to gain admission to secondary schools in Singapore based on their talents and achievements in non-academic areas, such as sports, music, art, and leadership.

Under the DSA scheme, students can apply directly to their preferred schools and be admitted based on their talent and potential in their chosen area of excellence, in addition to their academic achievements. The DSA scheme aims to provide more opportunities for students to pursue their passions and talents, and to ensure that a diverse range of students with different strengths and interests are admitted to each school.

Each secondary school in Singapore may offer DSA places in different areas of excellence, depending on the school's strengths and focus. Students who are interested in applying for DSA can check the MOE website for information on the participating schools and the application process.

It's important to note that while DSA can increase the chances of admission to a particular school, it is not a guarantee of acceptance. Students who are admitted through DSA are still required to meet the school's academic and other admission criteria.
